Participant FAQ
What is Dibs, and how does it help me?
Dibs (Data-Informed Behaviour Support) is a secure online tool that helps your support team record important information about you.
What information about me might be recorded?
Dibs can be used to record information relevant to your support, including:
- Day-to-day life details (for example, community access)
- Behaviour support information (for example, when you need help to feel calm)

Why is this information collected?
Reliable information helps your team:

Who can see my information?
Only approved people can access your information in Dibs.

A small secure technical team at Dibs has back-end access to keep the app running, but they do not review your personal stories unless required for support or safety.
What rights do I have over my information?
You or your guardian can:
- Say yes or no to using Dibs
- Choose who can and cannot view your information
